Earlier this week, META Publishing, a subsidiary of Owlcat Games, announced the launch of their new co-op puzzle adventure, Biped 2. The game is now available on Windows PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 4|5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Series X|S.Biped 2, which was awarded Game of the Year at Game Connection x ChinaJoy 2025, builds upon its highly praised predecessor with improved mechanics, smoother controls, new adorable bots with customization options, and new biomes.The story of Biped 2 begins after the brave bipeds reactivated all the beacons on Earth and receive a mysterious signal from a distant planet.
New characters Mimo and Azul join Aku and Sila to answer the call for help. The sequel introduces expanded multiplayer with four-player online and couch co-op, new robots, missions, striking new biomes, customization elements, and a new 2v2 mode for competitive play.Players who own Biped 2 on Steam can invite a friend to join online for free using the Friend Pass. The original Biped has sold six million copies to date, with 500,000 copies sold in the last month.
